International Scientific and Practical Conference "Socio-philosophical, legal and historical aspects of healthcare activities"

On May 21-23, 2023, the Department of Philosophy of BSMU together with the Samarkand State Medical University and Magnitogorsk State Technical University named after Nosov G.I. held an international scientific and practical conference "Socio-philosophical, legal and historical aspects of health care activities" on the basis of BSMU.

The geography of the participants of this forum is extensive: it included both Russian and foreign participants (Uzbekistan, the Republic of Belarus, the United Arab Emirates, etc.). The conference was attended by scientists and teachers of higher educational institutions, students, undergraduates, postgraduates and young scientists and doctors. The format of the conference is mixed, foreign participants were connected online.

The head of the Department of Philosophy of BSMU, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Khramova Ksenia Vyacheslavovna, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of BSMU Akhatov Iskander Shaukatovich, as well as associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Samarkand State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Yarmukhammedova Nargiza Anvarovna delivered a welcoming speech to the participants of the conference.

Nosov", Doctor of Philosophy ( Magnitogorsk, Russia), Tatyana Viktorovna Shershneva, Head of the Psychology Department of the Belarusian National Technical University ( Minsk, Belarus), Artur Ferdsovich Amirov, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of BSMU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor ( Ufa, Russia), Ibragimova Guzel Yarullovna, Head of the Department of Pharmacy Management and Economics with a course in Medical and Pharmaceutical Commodity Science of the BSMU, Doctor of Pharmacy, Professor ( Ufa, Russia), Arkady Viktorovich Lukyanov, Doctor of Philosophy , Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies of the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Education ( Ufa, Russia), Vladislav Evgenievich Bugera, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Philosophy of the USNTU ( Ufa, Russia), Kinyabulatov Azat Uranovich, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health and Health Organization BSMU ( Ufa, Russia), Anatoly Igorevich Stoletov, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic and Humanitarian Disciplines of the BSAU ( Ufa, Russia), Puyman Sergey Alexandrovich, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology of the Belarusian National Technical University ( Minsk, Belarus), Baturina Oksana Sergeevna, Ph.D. in Psychology, Associate Professor, Head of the Scientific Department of the Birs branch of the UUST, Deputy Director of the Spiritual and Educational Center "Spiritual Splendor" ( Birsk, Russia).

The work of the following main sections of the conference was organized:

I. Philosophy of physical, mental and moral health.

II. Social work in the healthcare system, clinical social work, social work with the population.

III. Actual problems of the health of the population of the Republic of Belarus: history and modernity.

IV. Socio-economic aspects of public health.

The breakout sessions were attended by young scientists and students of BSMU and cadets of the Ufa Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), which brought variety to the topics of the reports. Cadets of the Ufa Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs talked about music therapy, deviant behavior, factors contributing to the manifestation of criminal aggression, profiling, methods of psychological manipulation, causes of professional burnout, etc.. The scientific research of students in each section was evaluated by an expert jury, which determined the best performances. The winners of the contest papers were awarded diplomas, and the speakers were awarded a certificate of participation in the conference.

The conference was held in a businesslike and friendly atmosphere. The ideas presented in the reports have great theoretical and practical value and aroused genuine interest of the listeners. Following the results of the conference, an online collection will be published (free of charge) in the journal "Bulletin of the Bashkir State Medical University".
