A professor from Baku teaches at BSMU

According to the academic mobility program at the Department of Neurology, classes with the head of the Department of Neurology from Baku, Aiten Mammadbeyli, are coming to an end today.

Students of BSMU from Asia and Africa highly appreciated the opportunity to study in English with one of the leading professors of Azerbaijan. She had excellent classes according to plan, participated in a master class at the BSMU Clinic, gave a brilliant lecture on a rare form of mucopolysaccharidosis in children at the ХХIX University neurological readings with her own clinical examples, photos and video demonstrations. 

"We are very pleased with the first visit of a neurologist from Baku to Ufa and hope for further cooperation. An agreement between two universities was drawn up, plans for the future were discussed. Students from Azerbaijan will participate in the 88th All-Russian Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists with international participation "Issues of theoretical and practical medicine" in May 2023, neurologists of Azerbaijan will speak at our events, and we will speak at their events. We have already found mutual friends and plan to make new ones in various countries of the world and the CIS with the help of Professor Mammadbeili for cooperation within the framework of the cathedral work and the work of university centers and project offices," says Professor-neurologist of BSMU Leila Akhmadeeva, the initiator of the arrival of the Baku professor and responsible for working with her at BSMU.
