Our scientists at the International Forum «URBAN HEALTH 2023»

On August 2-3, within the framework of the Moscow Urban Forum, the III International Congress Urban Health was held in Gostiny Dvor. It was attended by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development A.V. Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services P.P. Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy A.Y. Bochkarev, representative of the World Health Organization in Russia Melita Vujnovich, head of the WHO network "Regions - on health" Bettina Mene, head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare A.Yu. Popova, Acad. RAS Y.A. Rakhmanin, Acad. N.V. Zaitseva, First Deputy Head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency T.V. Yakovleva and others.

Bashkir State Medical University was represented by Prof. Sh.N. Galimov, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Preventive Medicine, Head of the Department of Biological Chemistry, and Prof. E.F. Galimova, Doctor of Medical Sciences, of the Department of Pathological Physiology. On August 3 at the panel for the professional community "Urban Ecology and Health - the components of a quality environment" our scientists made a report "Super toxicants in the urban environment and reproductive health".

The panel presented and discussed new scientific research proving the link between the environment and health, the role of individual factors and pollutants in the formation of health indicators and the development of environmental protection measures for a healthy city.
