Congress of Cardiology of the Mediterranean and the Middle East in conjunction with the American College of Cardiology

Head of the Department of Internal Medicine Propaedeutics Prof. Zagidullin N.Sh. took part in the Congress of Cardiologists of the Mediterranean / Middle East together with the American College of Cardiology (ACC), which was held November 3-5, 2023 in Athens (Greece). The Congress was attended by 39 national cardiology societies and more than 600 participants. The following topics were presented at the Congress: heart failure, invasive arrhythmology, scientific writing, cardiomyopathies, arterial hypertension and others. Prof. Naufal Shamilevich Zagidullin presented poster reports on "Cardiovascular burden of different COVID-19 strains" and "Changes in left ventricular systolic function in patients with iron deficiency within 6 months after myocardial infarction". A total of 150 posters were presented.
