30th University Neurological Readings

This event was held in the conference hall "Gafuri" of the congress center "Nesterov Plaza" on the Gostiny Dvor Square in Ufa on the International Day of Neurologist on December 1, 2023 and was dedicated to the year of teacher and mentor in Russia.

The chairman of this international conference was Prof. Rim Magzhanov, Chairman of the Society of Neurologists of Bashkortostan. Prof. Kamil Ramazanov, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, opened the conference and welcomed the participants.

The lecturers represented five countries: Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.

The readings were held in a hybrid format and gathered 145 online and 100 participants in the conference hall.

All the topics of the conference were identified by the participants as highly relevant, the lively discussion was pleasant, the participants highly appreciated the presented program and the necessity of the presented material with examples of lecturers for their clinical practice.

The exhibition presented modern means for pharmacotherapy, hardware diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the nervous system. Conditions were created for specialists to meet in formal and informal settings, to discuss the information received and further prospects of work.

The program discussed the care of patients with frequently and rarely encountered conditions: such as cerebrovascular diseases, migraine, epilepsy, hereditary diseases of the nervous system in children and adults, pain syndromes, autoimmune, neuropsychiatric and functional diseases, vestibular dysfunction, insomnias, etc.

The interdisciplinary discussions in a hybrid format, including between neurologists and psychiatrists, as well as the chair's comments on each of the presentations were very valuable.
