Students of the University were honored at the International Forum of Civic Participation #WeAreTogether-2023

Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, spoke at the closing ceremony of the We Are Together International Forum for Civic Participation. At the ceremony Mikhail Murashko presented honorary awards in the nominations "Health of the Nation" and within the international track "Health Care and Emergency Response".

- These nominations reflect our current life and the need for volunteer movement. We, medical professionals, are sincerely grateful to our colleagues who stand shoulder to shoulder, who help today in medical check-ups, in helping the wounded and people with disabilities. Low bow from the bottom of our hearts, words of gratitude, - said Mikhail Murashko.

During his speech at the forum, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kirienko noted that behind each volunteer is a huge number of good deeds to thousands and even millions of people who have been helped.

The Minister also spoke to medical volunteers at the summing up of the results of the year of the All-Russian Public Movement "Volunteer Medics" within the framework of the forum "We Are Together".

- Medical volunteers are people who help a large group of medical professionals. During the pandemic, you helped with call centers, delivering medicines to patients, and many of you went to red zones. You are a brave and seriously formed team. You are realistic about results in practice. "Today our country needs your support and knowledge," said Mikhail Murashko.

Mikhail Murashko, Head of the Russian Ministry of Health, presented honorary awards to medical volunteers from different regions.

The winners of the International Award #WeAreTogether in which the student of the pediatric faculty of BSMU Andrey Safuanov took part were awarded. He was awarded with a letter of thanks from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

Summarized the results of the year together with "Volunteers of Culture" and "Volunteers of Medics" in which also awarded a student of the University, head of the local branch of "Volunteers of Medics" Edvard Hakimov.
