A student of the Faculty of Pharmacy took the third place in the I International Forum of Young Scientists and Students (Shymkent, Kazakhstan)

On December 7-8, the I International Forum of Young Scientists and Students, as well as the anniversary X International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Students "Prospects for the development of biology, medicine and pharmacy" was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (Shymkent). Students and young scientists from different countries of the world participated: Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, India, Iran and others.

Members of the scientific circle of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Analytical and Toxicological Chemistry of Bashkir State Medical University took an active part in the sectional meeting "Priority directions of pharmaceutical and chemical-toxicological study of drugs". Among 53 reports the honorable III place was taken by the 4th year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy Anastasia Pozdnyakova with the report "Study of the mechanism of action of thietanylpyrazole derivative in silico". Anastasia has been studying at the department since the 3rd year. Her scientific interest lies in molecular docking of new thietanilpyrazole derivatives and search for targets of antidepressant action.
