«Talk2me» Russian language conversation club for foreign students met at BSMU

On January 25, the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication of Bashkir State Medical University organized a conversation club - Speed Friending - for first-year international students.

The meeting was also attended by senior students with whom the freshmen had to get acquainted. First-year students had two minutes to talk to one senior student, during which time they had to find out the name, age, interests and hobbies, as well as the native country of the person they were talking to.

- I enjoyed talking with senior students. They helped us overcome our fears related to communicating in Russian," shared his impressions of Khan Sakuib Shokhaib (L-107B IN), a student of the International Faculty of BSMU.

- Everything went interesting and well. I think this event was very useful for the first-year students because they talked to us without being afraid of making a mistake. I hope it will help them to talk to other Russians fearlessly as well," said Ali Ibrahim Ahmed (ST-403B IN), a student of the BSMU International Faculty.
