The University held the first international conference on medicine at the Interuniversity Campus

On February 1, a scientific and practical conference "International Projects" with international participation in online format between Bashkir State Medical University and colleagues from universities of China: Harbin Medical University and Jilin University was held at the Interuniversity Campus.

Head of the Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases, Professor Naufal Zagidullin and Professor of the Department of Pharmacology of Harbin Medical University Haihai Liang delivered welcoming speeches. On the part of Bashkir State Medical University Ruslan Abdrakhimov, Head of the International Department of BSMU, Svetlana Pyatnitskaya, Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine and Clinical Psychology, Danil Galiullin, Associate Professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases and New Technologies, graduate of PhD program in Sichuan University (China), and PhD students studying in China took part in the conference.

Harbin Medical University was represented at the conference by Professor of the Department of Pharmacology, Harbin Medical University, Haihai Liang and Assistant Professor of the Department of Pharmacology, Harbin Medical University, Zhihui Niu. The representatives of the Key Laboratory of Lymphatic Surgery of Jilin Province and the Engineering Laboratory of Lymphatic Surgery of Jilin Province: junior researcher Luya Pu and researchers Yundong Zhang, Wanlu Bai, Baiao Wu, Jinli Ma participated from Jilin University (China).

Scientific reports were devoted to the mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in gastric cancer, the effect of silk oxide graphene polymer scaffold, the relationship between oral microbiome and gallbladder diseases, the study of mental health and post-traumatic growth in the context of permacrisis, and so on. At the end of the conference, the participants discussed the teaching and research experience of PhD students at Jilin University.
