BSMU scientists talk about science at the international exhibition and forum "Russia"

Russian Science Day is celebrated on February 8. This is the third and final day of the Bashkortostan stand within the framework of the thematic days of Bashkir science at the international exhibition-forum "Russia".

Today, master classes, an Art-Science exhibition, a Science Slam battle and exciting laboratory experiments are also held here.

During all the days of the stand's operation, scientists of the Eurasian Scientific Educational Center managed to attract the maximum number of people to Bashkir science and inventions of scientists of the Scientific Educational Center.

"The third day of the thematic Science Days of Bashkortostan is taking place within the framework of the Russia exhibition. At the regional site, we present activities that popularize science, explain to people what we can do, in terms of the scientific research that is currently being developed by our young scientists. It is important to show what we can implement right now, and that the result of all this activity is the growth of scientific support from the government of the region, which allowed the creation of the Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center, thanks to which one of the first world-class interuniversity campuses is being created in Ufa.

We see a lot of interest from visitors of the Russia exhibition to our stand, because science, being at the forefront of human thought, always attracts special interest from both adults and children," said Ruslan Rimovich Hannanov, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Bashkortostan.

This day was especially interesting for those who are interested in medicine. BSMU scientists talked about how ultraviolet light can save eyesight, how mathematics treats people and how additive technologies in medicine can make people's lives more comfortable.

Mars Galautdinov, a scientist at BSMU, said that the first temporary prostheses created within the framework of additive manufacturing are already being tested.

Scientific board games aroused particular interest among visitors: Thousands of people have undergone cognitive behavioral therapy through the game.

A separate thematic area of today was devoted to ecology. The Bashkortostan stand was visited by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Bashkortostan Azat Basyrov. The deputy took part in the scientific quiz "Carbon landfill - myth or reality" and told the visitors about the importance of implementing measures to preserve the environment and nature by man.

Over 200 thousand people have already visited the stand of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2 days.
