On April 19, 2024, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Infectious diseases at the present stage: problems and solutions" was held. The conference was organized by Bashkir State Medical University, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Bukhara State Medical Institute, Institute of Immunology and Human Genomics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Center for Epidemiology, Microbiology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov, Tajik State medical University.
The conference was attended by more than 500 people from different cities of Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. The conference was held in a hybrid format: broadcast online and in person (in the auditorium and classrooms of the 8th building of the Bashkir State Medical University).
Within the framework of the conference, a competition of reports by young scientists was held. The prizes were distributed as follows:

After the conference, the young scientists who came from Kazakhstan organized a cultural program, an excursion to the sights of Ufa and a visit to the National Museum.
