The University participated in the GETEX 2024 education exhibition in Dubai

Bashkir State Medical University participated in the international education and training exhibition GETEX 2024, the leading student recruitment event in the region and an effective platform for all education providers to achieve their student enrollment goals and admission quotas. The exhibition was held in the United Arab Emirates.

GETEX is the region's most powerful student recruitment marketing platform and has been instrumental in placing tens of thousands of students from across the Middle East, North Africa and the Asian subcontinent in over 80 institutions in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Each year, the exhibition attracts more than 25,000 local and international students who are on the cusp of college life and are actively seeking higher education, professional development and training opportunities.

Members of BSMU delegation at the exhibition held meetings with representatives of universities of India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iran, China, Armenia, Hungary on issues of collaboration in educational and scientific sphere, such as Azad University, Iran University of Medical Sciences, Gulf medical university.

Vocational guidance work was carried out with schoolchildren and parents as part of the work at the exhibition itself. Video presentation and prepared handouts were used for career guidance work. Promotion of medical units in the aspect of medical tourism was also carried out.

Doctors from Bashkir State Medical University were delegated to attract the target audience, laying the groundwork for successful student conversion and increased marketing visibility. Elvira Zufarovna Bulatova, an ophthalmologist, took part in the event from the Russian Eye and Plastic Surgery Center.

About 1930 people showed interest in the stand, i.e. more than 16% of the exhibition visitors.
