RESULTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIAD IN SURGERY

On May 16-18 the Russian Olympiad on Surgery with international participation "New Surgical Challenges of Russia - 24" was held in the walls of BSMU according to the annual tradition.

Eleven teams from all over the country took part in the Olympiad. Three days of hard work, and here are the long-awaited results of the Olympiad:

1st place - BSMU (Ufa), team Students' surgery community of BSMU.

2nd place - Wagner PSMU (Perm) and BSMU (Ufa).

3rd place - Razumovsky SSMU (Saratov) and St. Petersburg State University (St. Petersburg)

Grand Prix in the nomination "Golden Scalpel" was awarded to the student of BSMU, group L-508A Ismagilova Yulia Albertovna, who made nephrectomy on a live pig better and faster than anyone else.

Each team demonstrated skill and theoretical preparation. We wish future surgeons success in their professional development and look forward to the next Olympiad season!
