BSMU scientists took part in the I Eurasian Congress on Pathophysiology

Professor of the Department of Pathological Physiology, Dr. E.F. Galimova and Head of the Department of Biochemistry Sh.N. Galimov took part in the I Eurasian Congress on Pathophysiology, which was held on June 3-6 in Moscow at the Sechenov University of Life Sciences. Our scientists presented a report on the intermediate results of the Russian Science Foundation grant № 23-25-00140 "Aberrant expression of ejaculate microRNA in idiopathic infertility: fundamental and applied aspects".

The First Eurasian Congress was organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences, the International Society for Pathophysiology, and the Russian Scientific Society of Pathophysiologists. More than 300 scientists from Russia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan gathered at the landmark scientific event at Sechenov University.

Co-chairmen of the Congress: President of the International Society of Pathophysiologists Prof. V.A. Yakovlevich (Serbia), Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President of the Russian Scientific Society of Immunologists Academician RAS Chereshnev V.A., Director of "Research Institute of General Pathology and Pathophysiology", Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Morozov S.G.

Within the framework of the scientific program of the congress, topical issues of pathophysiology of immunity and circulatory systems, endocrine system, typical pathological processes, experimental pathophysiology, etc. were considered. Special attention was paid to the teaching of pathophysiology. The moderator of the section of the same name was Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Petr Frantsevich Litvitsky (Department of Pathophysiology, Sechenov Moscow State Medical University), who made a report "Optimization of the system of teaching clinically-oriented fundamental discipline "Pathophysiology" in a medical university".
