BSMU student took the 3rd place in the first international conference of medical students held in China

Within the framework of academic mobility program "University Immersion Program" the first international conference of medical students was held in Sichuan University (Chengdu, China),

3rd place with poster report "Expression profile of long-non-coding RNAs in Post-COVID-19 and Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis" was taken by student of 5th year of medical faculty of BSMU - Shamil Rustemovich Zulkarneev.

Students from 8 countries, including China, Canada, Italy, Belgium and others participated in the conference.

Among the jury members there were visiting professors, including Professor David Garth Fernig of Liverpool University.

The program of the visit also included a two-week internship in the department of the largest in Sichuan province West China Hospital, where a group of BSMU students improve their practical skills.
