Studying at BSMU means modern knowledge and unique opportunities.
Six students of Bashkir State Medical University completed their internship at Sichuan University.
Sichuan University is a long-standing partner of BSMU in the programs of academic mobility of students.
Medical students became participants of the international academic week: summer school and clinical internship on the basis of the West China Hospital of Sichuan University.
Active students of 4th and 5th year of medical and pediatric faculties of BSMU underwent clinical internship on the basis of clinical hospital of China and got acquainted with the peculiarities of simulation center, departments: X-ray endovascular surgery and resuscitation, endoscopy.
“A month of internship at the West China Hospital of Sichuan University has passed unnoticed. We would like to express our great gratitude to Bashkir Medical University and Sichuan University for the opportunity to undergo a medical internship at West China Hospital in Chengdu. The hospital is the second in the rating of the best hospitals in China, more than a thousand operations are performed per day. Colleagues were happy to share their experience, there was a lot of discussion - we were satisfied. The only strong difference between Russian hospitals and Chinese hospitals is the use of traditional Chinese medicine,” the students noted.
Future doctors get practical skills not only through familiarization with the Clinic - the students participated in surgical operations (laparoscopic partial nephrectomy) in the Department of Urology and fibrobronchoscopy of a patient with suspected tuberculosis.
Familiarization with the peculiarities of the Department of Internal Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine of Sichuan University Hospital broadened the students' understanding of Chinese medicine.
One of the main goals of the academic mobility of students is to strengthen international ties in the field of medical education, as well as to enrich the experience and expand the prospects of international interaction of medical students.
