Russian scientist, founder of the Federal Innovation Fund Ivan Bortnik got acquainted with the innovative potential of Bashkortostan and held a working meeting in Ufa with representatives of the scientific and educational community, enterprises of the republic and the city administration. "We have an idea to create an interactive science museum for schoolchildren. One such museum was created at the VDNKh site in Moscow, the second is being created in the Far East at the university. During the meeting, Ivan Bortnik noted the high positions of Bashkortostan in the framework of the Student Startup competition. This year, more than 400 students from the republic have applied and 120 of them have become winners of the competition. All winners received 1 million rubles each for the implementation of their project. By the number of participants, Bashkortostan entered the TOP-5 of regions of Russia. As experts noted, next year even more "breakthrough" ideas are expected from the republic.
"The unique opportunities that grant competitions provide for the implementation of scientific projects in medicine are a good chance for students to become not just a doctor, but a research doctor," said the rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Valentin Nikolaevich Pavlov.
Ivan Mikhailovich Bortnik also visited the Bashkir State Medical University: he got acquainted with the science of the university and students who want to become part of scientific, technical and innovation activity.
"Bashkiria is the leader in the number of winning applications of the federal competition" Student Startup. " And our task now is to increase the share of submitted and winning applications from students of our medical university. It is important that all projects that participate in the competition solve the priority task in strengthening the technological sovereignty of our country, "the rector shared.

Recently, foreigners who study at our universities can also receive grants for the development of their projects.
