Holidays with benefit: the cycle of winter schools for foreign students has ended
During the New Year holidays, foreign students mastered additional educational competencies at master classes and winter schools in biology, hygiene, surgery, therapy, pathology, biochemistry and internal medicine. The students were assisted by teachers of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia and invited lecturers from India.
From January 3 to January 8, Dr. Kunal Vir Garg from India spoke about the causes of diseases - pathology. Students who took part in the winter school received certificates.
From January 6 to January 11, the University hosted a winter school in biochemistry and internal medicine, conducted by Dr. Priyansh Jain. According to winter school participants, in meetings with Indian medical experts, students gained valuable new knowledge, improved their skills and learned a lot about the current state of medicine and biochemistry.
"We really liked Dr. Priyansh's lectures. All the information that we received during classes will definitely come in handy for us on the exam. Thank you, BSMU, for organizing a winter school! " - students who attended lectures on biochemistry and internal medicine shared their impressions.
Also, students could choose from winter schools in biology, surgery, master classes in therapy, hygiene and first aid in an emergency, organized by departments and divisions of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
"The winter biology school was very interesting and creative. We gained good experience, new knowledge and repeated what we had already learned in a semester.
