Foreign student of BSMU became the prize-winner of the world championship in mas-wrestling
From November 28 to December 2, the VI World Mas-Wrestling Championship was held in the capital of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, in which about 250 athletes from 21 countries of the world took part. BSMU of the Russian Ministry of Health was represented by foreign students at the championship.
Ibrahim Mohamed in the weight category up to 90 kg took 3rd place. Student from Nigeria Samuel Allade reached the semifinals, took 5th place. Guesch-Tefred Miatelana of Congo reached the semifinals. Student from Colombia Veronica Lorena took reached the semifinals and took 4th place.
Students train under the guidance of the head of the Department of Physical Culture of BSMU Ruslan Gainullin and the teacher of the Department of Physical Culture Ilgam Ishmukhametov.
To get to the championship, students passed the selection - participated in the International Tournament. Next year, the coaching staff plans to prepare more students to participate in the VII World Mas-Wrestling Championship, which will be held in Mongolia.
