In the month of medical science, scientists from all over the world get acquainted with the laboratories of BSMU
BSMU hosts a month of medical science. Since November 1, the university has been holding major scientific events that will bring together Russian and foreign experts (China, India, UAE, Kazakhstan, Korea, etc.), opinion leaders in various fields of medicine: ophthalmology, oncology, gynecology, neurosurgery, surgery and cardiology.
A scientific and practical conference "Integrative ophthalmology - a different look at familiar things" was held at the Ufa Research Institute of Eye Diseases. About 200 specialists from Ufa and the Republic of Bashkortostan took part in person, more than 300 ophthalmologists from Bashkortostan, Russia (from Moscow to Vladivostok), CIS countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan) and non-CIS countries (Germany, Turkey, Japan) took part online.
From November 7 to 8, BSMU has become a point of attraction for specialists from Korea, Kazakhstan, China and India, specialists from medical organizations will share their experience at the I International Congress on Obstetrics and Gynecology "Difficult Patient in Obstetrics and Gynecology."
On the first day of the session, foreign scientists got acquainted with the work of the BSMU Clinic - with the work of the Center for Robotic Surgery, which unites the preparation of scientific research and students for professional activities. The Center actively uses the development of scientists of the medical university - "digital patient" and "digital surgeon" for training surgical specialists, operations are carried out on the robot Da Vinci Si and Da Vinci Xi and on the angiograph Artis Pheno.
Young scientists and doctors of the Institute of Urology and Clinical Oncology of the BSMU spoke about promising scientific areas and research that are developing on the basis of laboratories. The experts also got acquainted with the activities of Biobank and with the research that is carried out in modern scientific laboratories of the Clinic.
Foreign guests also visited the laboratories of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine.
"This is my first visit to Russia and Ufa. I became a participant in the Congress on Gynecology, organized by the Bashkir State Medical University. I am impressed by the organization and quality of the scientific program. Thanks to this event, I had the opportunity to visit the university, laboratories and the department of gynecology. I would like to start cooperation with BSMU not only in the field of gynecology and gynecological surgery, but also molecular biology. It would also be interesting for me to work together with scientists from your university to develop and create innovative medical devices," said Indian professor Suyashi Navalu.
Also, within the framework of the Congress, the University signed a cooperation agreement with the Center for Perinatology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery of the Public Health Department of Kazakhstan.
From November 7 to 9, leading Russian oncologists and specialists of related disciplines met at the III Volga Oncology Forum.
"We have been cooperating with Bashkir State Medical University since 2018. A large delegation from Uzbekistan came to the forum. We gained new practical experience here by watching the broadcasts of the operations of Moscow and Ufa doctors. At the present time, organizing and holding such a forum is not easy. I want to thank all the organizers, especially the rector of the Bashkir State Medical University and the head of the Republican Clinical Oncological Dispensary. Such events give impetus to the development of medicine all over the world,"- said the forum participant, head of the department of surgical diseases of the Andijan State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan), MD, professor Yuldashali Suleimanovich Egamov.
Scholars from India and China also met BSMU international students and gave lectures: Dr. Suyash Naval (India) «Vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery» и Dr. Xiuli Sun (China) Healthcare Trends and Treatments in China.
