BSMU and scientific and educational institutions of Turkey develop international cooperation in the field of science and education

101 years ago, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk proclaimed Turkey a republic. As a sign of friendship, mutual respect and the establishment of close business ties, the BSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia took part in an official reception dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey.

The reception was held by Consul General of Turkey in Kazan Ugur Yilmaz.

On behalf of the University, Head of the Department for International Activities of the Bashkir State Medical University Ruslan Abdrakhimov congratulated Turkish colleagues on the Republic Day and presented Ugur Yilmaz with a souvenir.

Turkey and Russia have long-standing historical ties and, assessing the relations between the Republic of Turkey and Bashkortostan, preliminary agreements were reached at the meeting on establishing cooperation in the scientific and educational spheres between the Bashkir State Medical University and the universities of Turkey.

It should be noted that representatives of the University became the only delegates from Bashkortostan at the reception of the Consul General of Turkey.
