Ophthalmic surgeon of the Ufa Research Institute of Eye Diseases took part in an international symposium in Azerbaijan

On October 25 and 26, the II International Symposium of the Society of Ophthalmologists of Azerbaijan (ASO) and the Society of Ophthalmologists of the Turkic Republics (TROS) was held in Sheki (Azerbaijan). The event brought together leading scientists and practicing ophthalmologists from Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The symposium has become an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of ophthalmology, discussing current trends and achievements in the treatment of eye diseases.

Iskander Valishin, an employee of the Ufa Research Institute of Eye Diseases of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia, an ophthalmic surgeon of the II microsurgical department, presented a report in English on the topic: "Proliferation of retinal pigment epithelium in rabbits with laser-induced retinal degeneration."

The report aroused great interest among the conference participants, which indicates the importance of the work for further research in this area. Participation in such an international symposium allowed not only to present our achievements, but also to establish new contacts with colleagues from other countries, which will undoubtedly contribute to the further development of scientific cooperation.
