Medical students took part in the World Nomad Games in Kazakhstan

Competitions were held in Astana on September 8-13, 2024. About 2,500 athletes from 90 countries took part in the V World Nomad Games. The Russian national team included more than 150 athletes in all 21 sports of the Games. Including students of BSMU.

BSMU students Ibrahim Magd (L-401 B) and Gong Ermenejildo Fereira (L-611V) took part in mas-wrestling competitions and showed decent results.

The games have been held since 2014, are included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List and are aimed at developing the ethno-sports and ethnocultural movement of the peoples of the world and national sports in general.
