Scientists of BSMU and Harbin Medical University discussed advanced research in the field of medicine and biotechnology

On September 16, the Russian-Chinese scientific-practical conference "Actual issues of interaction between Russian and Chinese universities" was held online. The conference participants are BSMU scientists receiving a PhD degree in China, researchers from Harbin Medical University, as well as the rector of Dagestan State Medical University, Professor Visampasha Yusupovich Khanaliev.

- Last week we had a very successful and fruitful meeting with Chinese universities in Yekaterinburg. We are ready to further develop our joint cooperation, - the rector of BSMU, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, MD, professor Valentin Pavlov addressed the conference participants.

The researchers presented reports on the following topics:

- Development of screening markers and diagnostic algorithm for predicting risk of Alzheimer's disease formation;
- Identification of potential colorectal cancer biomarkers through proximity extension analysis;
- Effect of psoralen-loaded graphene silk polymer hydrogel scaphold oxide on mesenchymal stem cell osteogenesis;
- Clinical use and value of facial fat reduction in midface and lower face lift;
- Interconnection of oral and gallbladder diseases;
- Progress in the study of macrophage polarization in lupus nephritis. - Clinical significance of IFNGR2 and NFAT5 in lupus nephritis;
- Instability in the context of permacrisis. Sound theoretical approach;
- Interventional effect of rTMS on NSAIDs in adolescents with bipolar disorder and its correlation with fNIRS and serological level of HCE;
- Artificial intelligence to detect colorectal neoplasias during colonoscopy.

During the discussion, the conference participants discussed possible forms of further scientific collaborations, in particular, they talked about the opening of mirror laboratories.
