BSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia signed a cooperation agreement with Osh State University, Kyrgyzstan

Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia was visited by a delegation of Osh State University (Kyrgyz Republic).

The delegation included: Rector of Osh State University Kozhobekov Kudaiberdi Gaparalievich, Head of the Department of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology of Osh State University Atabaev Ibragim Nasyrovich, Head of the Department of Organization of Pharmaceutical Affairs and Pharmacognosy Mamatov Zhekshen Kasenovich.

"We have good relations with medical universities in Kyrgyzstan. Today, for the first time, we signed a cooperation agreement with the classical university of Osh, a successful and dynamically developing university of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. We already have a groundwork for cooperation. Today we are raising this cooperation to a new level - first of all, this is scientific cooperation. Our scientific laboratories at the Institute of Fundamental Medicine, at the world-class Intercollegiate Campus attract the best minds and youth from different countries. We signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of science on joint education programs, where together our and Kyrgyz students will work and develop advanced areas of medical science. Also, our university has great resources for interaction in the field of medicine - Osh University is building its own Clinic and our accumulated experience in the development of a medical base for colleagues can be useful. We will continue to train highly qualified personnel in the field of cardiology, ophthalmology, oncology for the republic with which we have great friendly ties. We have a common history and victories. And, of course, we go further in life together," the rector of the BSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Valentin Nikolaevich Pavlov said.

The delegation visited the BSMU Clinic, the All-Russian Center for Eye and Plastic Surgery of the University, got acquainted with the work of the university's scientific laboratories at the Interuniversity Student Campus and the Institute of Fundamental Medicine.

About 5 thousand foreign students are studying at BSMU, among of them 18 are from the Kyrgyz Republic. The visit of the delegation of Osh State University is an important confirmation of the intentions in the consistent strengthening of cooperation in the field of education and science between the two republics.

"Today we visited a medical university, science laboratories and a university clinic. Very pleasantly surprised by the achievements of the university. We have signed an agreement between our universities, which provides for the implementation of academic mobility of students and teachers, joint scientific works and publications. We plan to hold joint scientific conferences, write master's papers and master's theses. We plan to make joint programs for all our programs, we already have experience working with Russian universities. In the future, each specialty, each department will individually work among themselves, discuss new projects. We are interested that our teachers and researchers can also come to the laboratories of BSMU and conduct research," the rector of Osh State University Kozhobekov Kudaiberdi Gaparalievich said.
