The safety of foreign students was discussed in the University

A meeting was held at the Bashkir State Medical University with the participation of police major Muratov Insaf Rafkatovich, head of the migration department of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Ufa. The event was dedicated to discussing topical issues for foreign students and representatives of the Council of Fraternities.

The main attention was paid to compliance with migration norms and rules of stay in the Russian Federation. During the meeting, the growth of cyber threats and related risks was discussed. Major Muratov stressed the importance of students' awareness of possible fraudulent schemes and the danger of involvement in illegal activities, including the circulation of prohibited substances and participation in dropping schemes.

Participants received useful recommendations for protecting their data and safe behavior in the digital space. Students were explained how to recognize fraud attempts and what actions to take for their own safety.

In addition to this, a similar briefing was held for the staff of the dean's office responsible for working with international students. This will improve security measures and provide support for students during their stay in Russia.
