On March 14, 2025, students of the Bashkir State Medical University made presentations at the III International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Russian as a Foreign Language: A New Look and Prospects," organized by Adygea State University.
Within the framework of the conference, they presented studies on the linguistic aspects of medical communication and terminology: "Medical metaphors in literature and their linguistic implications" (Vansch, L-235a IN); "Influence of Latin and Greek on medical vocabulary" (Ishika, L-409a IN); "Medical communication in different languages" (Meghana Kovkuntla, L-218b IN); "Evolution of medical terms in English: from Latin to modern usage" (Saini Atin, L-409a IN).
The work of the students took place under the scientific supervision of Avkhadieva I.A.
The conference became a significant platform for discussing modern approaches to the study and teaching of the Russian language as a foreign language, including in a medical context. Participation in the event allowed our students to exchange scientific ideas with colleagues from different countries, gain new knowledge and valuable research experience.
We thank the organizers for the opportunity to present the results of our research at the international level!
