More than 4,000 BSMU students completed summer practice in Bashkortostan hospitals

BSMU students underwent practical training in 20 leading hospitals in Ufa, in cities and regions of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In total, 4158 students completed the practice over the summer period.

More than 80 foreign students went to practice outside of Russia and honed medical skills in medical institutions in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, Egypt.

So, in the Beloretsk Central Clinical Hospital, future doctors from India underwent internship. Students with their own eyes were able to see the skill of a doctor who operated on laparoscopically bilateral hydrosalpings, showing students a master class.

During the practice, the chief physician of the Mishkin Central Regional Hospital Valery Gareev discussed with students employment issues, key areas where qualified personnel are required, as well as admission to residency.

At the Central Regional Hospital in the village of Yazykovo, students gained practical experience in various medical specialties, working side by side with experienced specialists.

Such practical experience is not just a requirement of the curriculum, but a unique opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and understand the specifics of a doctor's work.

Very soon, summer camps with practical training for our students will be held in 8 districts of Bashkiria.

Practice ensures the connection of theoretical knowledge with practical skills, the ability to apply this knowledge to solve specific problems, the development of professional consciousness and professionally significant qualities.
