Russian language summer school for applicants from neighboring countries was held at BSMU

From August 8 to 28, at the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication, applicants and future residents took courses in the Russian language. Classes were organized for applicants from neighboring countries. In total, the course lasted 18 days.

In the summer school, training was conducted in two groups corresponding to the level of proficiency in Russian. Students entering the 1st year studied constant and inconsistent signs of parts of speech, special emphasis was placed on the case system, as this caused the greatest difficulties. Work in the resident group was more concentrated on the language of the specialty: young people practiced the use of basic medical constructions and professional vocabulary. In addition to classroom activities, the teachers of the department organized excursions and created space for creativity.

The summer school of the Russian language was organized in order to prepare applicants for the subsequent development of professional educational programs at the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia. Also, this course contributed to an increase in interest in the Russian language and Russian culture, forming the necessary communicative and sociocultural competence among applicants.
