For the first time, schoolchildren from China became students of BSMU

Bashkir State Medical University this year for the first time accepted the first 17 students from China. They came to conquer Bashkiria from Sichuan province, the city of Chengdu. The guys entered the specialties Dentistry and Medical Business. Students will study in English.

In the first days of training, students got acquainted with the scientific and educational potential of the University — they visited the audiences of the university, the BSMU Clinic, the Simulation Center and the Interuniversity Student Campus.

We did not miss the moment to talk with the guys and asked them to share their first emotions after first days in BSMU.

Is this your first time in Russia? What do you remember most?

«I really liked it in Russia, there are many beautiful places, the food is very tasty, and the people are very kind and helpful», student Qian Rose said.

«I specially came to Bashkiria to study dentistry. There are many attractions in Ufa that are worth visiting, many beautiful places. Very tasty food and people are very nice and friendly», Yu Shiman.

«Ufa is a big and beautiful city. The food here is delicious», Wen Yujia.

Your first impression of Bashkir State Medical University?

«I entered BSMU for dentistry. Here I have already made friends - they are also from China. We were on a tour of the University. It's very beautiful and big. I'm comfortable here», Wu Taizi.

«I liked the Medical University in Ufa for its majestic architecture and good-natured teachers. It is difficult to learn Russian, there is a lot of work ahead», Qian Rose.

«The university is very beautiful and big. We have modern housing and excellent teachers who are always ready to help. I studied Russian for 1 year before entering here. The Russian language is difficult for me, but there are no problems with daily communication. After graduating from the University, I want to work as a dentist and help people», Yu Shiman.

«I learned about Bashkir Medical University from senior students. In the first few days it was uncomfortable, but later I adapted. It is very beautiful and stylish here, the leadership of the University is pleasant. However, the most important thing here is knowledge. In my country there were Universities at an affordable price, but I consulted with my parents, and we chose Bashkiria. The university is huge, I have not yet remembered the road. Our living conditions are good. One minus - it's very cold in Ufa», - student Li Wuyang.

It should be noted that BSMU is actively integrated into the international agenda — agreements on international cooperation as a part of interaction have been concluded with foreign universities in Germany, Austria, USA, China, Jordan, etc.

Now the University implements joint postgraduate (PhD) and doctoral programs (Post-Doc) together with 3 Chinese universities: Harbin Medical University, Wenzhou Medical University and Sichuan University.

As a part of international mobility programs, BSMU students are actively trained and share their experience with Chinese colleagues. So, from 13 to 20 October, our students undergo an internship in the laboratory of the 4th hospital of Harbin Medical University. Interns - 10 student activists and employees of the scientific laboratories of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia. As a part of the internship, students will exchange experiences, visit the campus, Clinics and laboratories of the Chinese University.
