The ninth issue of the global rating "Three Missions of the University" has been published: https://mosiur.org/ranking/. The rating was presented as part of a meeting of the Council of the Russian Union of Rectors in Moscow with the participation of the rector of BSMU, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Valentin Pavlov.
Bashkir State Medical University rose to 24th place in the ranking among Russian universities (2024 - 28th place) and entered the 701-800 interval group of the international global rating MosIUR (2024 - group 801-900).
Among the medical universities of the regions of Russia BSMU is the best medical university and 4th among medical universities in Russia (unchanged compared to last year), following Sechenov University, Pavlov University and Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.
The ranking assesses all three key missions of the university: education, science and community engagement.
In total, 2,000 universities from 112 countries of the world entered the ranking this year.
As previously reported, BSMU demonstrates an active growth of inventive activity: the number of registered inventions has almost quadrupled, the construction of the Institute of Translational Medicine has been launched, a scientific residency program has been launched, as a part of the Priority 2030 development program, the University is implementing 3 technological leadership projects, and the number of applicants wishing to study at BSMU has increased by a third.
