Bashkir State Medical University gathers the best students-surgeons

5 December on the basis of Bashkir State Medical University will start all-Russian Olympics on surgery with international participants. The Olympics is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation. Participants from all over Russia are stated in the competition, as well as the teams of Mannheim Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University (Germany), Harbin Medical University, Sichuan University (China), Akhunbaev I. K. Kyrgyz Medical Academy, the International team of Bashkir State Medical University. Senior students take part in the competition.

“The Olympic Surgical movement forms the forge of "Golden" surgeons of our country, - said Valentin Pavlov, the Rector of Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences. – Exactly such events give an impetus for the development of active and talented young people.”

The Chair of the trial team is Kubyshkin V. A., academician, a long-time acting chief surgeon of Russia. The trial team will assess the skills of suturing of heart stab wounds, coronary artery overlay of pile, the model “S” shaped internal reservoir from small intestine, endoscopic and anatomical contest will be held there too.

The Olympics will last for two days.

Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Bashkir State Medical University” the Ministry of Healthcare, the Russian Federation invites students to take part in All-Russian Students Olympics on Surgery with international participants that is held on December 5-6, 2017 in Ufa. The Olympics is included in the plan of the most significant events of educational and pedagogical focus in educational institutions that are under the Ministry of Healthcare of Russian Federation in 2017.

Participation in the Olympics

3-6 year students of the General Medicine and Pediatrics Faculties are invited to take part in the Olympics. Each team consists of 5-6 people and accompanying head. To take part in the Olympics you should send the Application form (the Application form is attached) to the Organizing Committee till October 31, 2017. The document must be electronic as the *.doc form.
