Russian-Chinese scientific-practical conference was held at the BSMU Clinic

On November 6, the Russian-Chinese scientific-practical conference "Actual issues of interaction between Russian and Chinese universities" was held at the BSMU Clinic.

The event was attended by students of 5-6 courses, undergraduates, residents and young scientists.

Rector of BSMU, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Valentin Pavlov greeted the participants and spoke about the opportunities that open up to students during foreign internships.

As part of scientific reports, young researchers studied complex biological systems (microbiome, exosomes, cell signaling pathways) and analyzed their role in the development of various pathologies, the development and research of innovative therapeutic methods, as well as the creation of modern diagnostic and research technologies.

Participants of the Summer School and Clinical Internship at the West China Hospital of Sichuan University, the International Young Talent Exchange Program at the Fourth Hospital of Harbin Medical University shared their experience and talked about the benefits of completing training programs in foreign clinics and universities.

The conference was held as a part of the federal program for the development of universities "Priority-2030" in order to increase the level of training of specialists for scientific and pedagogical work and practical health care, as well as the exchange of experience between young scientists from Russia and China.
