Foreign students of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia successfully passed the selection for the district stage of the All-Russian competition for foreign students StudRussia. The event for students of universities of the Volga Federal District was held at the Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University. N.A. Dobrolyubova November 6 and 7.
The university was represented by Ermatov Ortikboy Mamurjonovich (L-402), Ibrahim Merna Faez Philip (ST-501 IN), Abdelgani Abobakr Ahmed Wakaad (ST-501 IN), Yashi (L-312 IN), Arya Dzhyotirmay (L-415 IN), Kashi Chugh (L-503 IN), Nikdur Anfal (L-603 IN) and Gurmule Yash Sanjay (L-420 IN).
At the correspondence stage, the contestants collected a portfolio and wrote a motivation letter according to the nomination in which they took part: "The Future of Science," "Inspired by Creativity," "Generation Leader," "Russian Language and Culture," "Good Without Borders," "Conquerors of the Peaks." At the district stage, a pitch session was held, where our students presented individual projects "My Russia". The guys will need to tell:
• how studying and experience in science, leadership, creativity, promotion of the Russian language and culture in Russia helps them in their profession;
• what they will learn from the experience of living in Russia;
• what they want to share with residents of their native country.
On the first day of the district stage, the guys visited the open lecture hall of the Russian society "Znaniye" - "Value constants of Russian civilization" and presented their projects to experts. On the second day, the organizers of the competition conducted an immersive excursion "Nizhny Novgorod - Russia in miniature" for the participants, at the end of the day the results of the qualifying stage in the Volga Federal District were announced.
As a result of the pitch session, our students brought the following awards to Ufa:
1st place in the nomination "Russian language and culture" in English Gurmule Yash Sanjay (L-420 IN);
3rd place in the nomination "Russian language and culture" in English Kashi Chugh (L-503 IN);
2nd place in the nomination "Generation Leader" in English Arya Jyotirmai (L-415 IN);
2nd place in the nomination "The Future of Science" in English Nikdur Anfal (L-603 IN).
