Mentor's contribution: Elsa Nabiakhmetovna Akhmadeeva - professor who raised a whole generation of pediatricians

Elsa Nabiakhmetovna Akhmadeeva - professor of the Department of Hospital Pediatrics, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Honored Doctor of the Republic of Bashkortostan, doctor of the highest qualification category in neonatology and pediatrics. The total work experience is more than 57 years.

Elsa Nabiakhmetovna for many years headed the departments of the pediatric profile of the Bashkir State Medical University and is rightfully a teacher for many pediatricians of the Republic of Bashkortostan and all of Russia. Under the guidance of Professor Elza Akhmadeeva, 4 doctors and 24 candidates of sciences were prepared, more than 500 scientific and methodological works, 11 monographs were published.

Elsa Nabiakhmetovna leads the university problem commission in the specialty "Pediatrics", works with students and residents, conducts intra-university seminars, including "Biobanking in pediatrics and neurology", which will be held on December 4.

Scientific activity is devoted to topical clinical problems of pediatrics and neonatology. For the first time in the Republic of Bashkortostan, scientific approaches based on the principles of evidence-based medicine have been introduced in protecting maternal and child health, humanizing neonatal and perinatal care. Elsa Nabiakhmetova participated in the development of orders, practical and clinical recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan, methodological recommendations of the Russian Association of perinatal medicine specialists on primary medical care and neonatal resuscitation. For the active popularization of new technologies for perinatal care in the Republic of Bashkortostan and beyond, she became the owner of the titles "Leader in Achievements" (1996), "Who is Who in the World of Intellectuals" (1997), the International Biographical Center (Cambridge, UK), laureate of the national prize to the best doctors of Russia "Vocation" in the nomination "For the creation of a scientific direction in medicine", Moscow (2005).

We note the active international activity of Elsa Nabiakhmetovna - she leads 4 international clinical studies of the third level, teaches in the framework of academic mobility at international universities, gives lectures at international congresses. Most recently, during a trip to Dushanbe, the rector of the Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali Ibni Sino, Professor Muhiddin Nuriddin Davlatali, awarded Elsa Nabiakhmetovna with the prestigious medal named after Professor M. Gulomov for outstanding achievements.

Elza Nabiakhmetovna Akhmadeeva made a great contribution to the development and formation of neonatal and perinatal service in the Republic of Bashkortostan, to the training of students, neonatologists and pediatricians in the region.

And today, November 20, on the International Pediatrician Day, Professor Elsa Akhmadeeva received congratulations from colleagues from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Estonia and a number of other countries, as well as from students from all over Russia.

* International Pediatrician Day was established on the day when the UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration on the Rights of the Child - the world's first official document that enshrined social and legal norms related to young children.
