World Championship among students in mas-wrestling gave victory to students of BSMU

In Ufa, the world championship among students in mas-wrestling was successfully held. The best mas-wrestlers of the world fought for the title of champion - young stars from 35 countries. Among the main contenders for victory were the strongest Russian athletes.

Students of the Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) reaffirmed their high sports level by performing in the international arena. Our athletes demonstrated an unbending character and took the entire podium in several weight categories.

Results of the performances of BSMU athletes:

· Alade Samuel Adeola is the student world champion in the -80kg category

· Ibrahim Magd Diyab Salem - silver medal in the category up to 90 kg (lost in the final to world champion Semyon Borisov).

· Gupta Artie - bronze medal among juniors in the category up to 50 kg.

· Haji Javeheria Mohamed - bronze medal among juniors in the category up to 60 kg.

· Khabirova Azalina (student of the pediatric faculty) - 2nd place in the category up to 80 kg (the result of the final match - 1:2).

· Tarek Ahmed - silver medal among juniors in the category up to 70 kg.

· Abdelbade Abdelrahman - bronze medal in the category up to 90 kg.

· Omisore Daniel - bronze medal in the category up to 105 kg.

· Yudakov Vladislav (student of the pediatric faculty) - 2nd place in the absolute category 105+ kg.
