Students from Kazakhstan undergo practical training at BSMU

Bashkir State Medical University was visited by a student delegation of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. 13 fifth-year students of the Pharmacy educational program and the curator of the group, associate professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry Zoya Allambergenova got acquainted with the work of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the departments of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the peculiarity of teaching pharmaceutical disciplines, and research laboratories. The visit of students to BSMU was organized as part of the practical training "Pharmaceutical Analysis and Standardization of Medicines".

The main departments of the practice are the Department of Pharmacognosy and Botany and the Department of Pharmacy, where students consolidate their skills in pharmaceutical analysis and standardization of medicines. The practice is supervised by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Botany, Professor Natalya Kudashkina and Head of the Department of Pharmacy, Professor Valery Kataev.

Professor Zoya Allambergenova, as a part of the academic mobility program, conducts lectures and practical classes on pharmaceutical chemistry for students of the 3rd, 4th and 5th courses of the pharmaceutical faculty of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

The Kazakh delegation visited the laboratories of the University in the Interuniversity Student Campus and the simulation center of the Faculty of Pharmacy, where graduates are accredited. A visit to the partner organization of the University Farmlend is also planned.

A sightseeing tour of Ufa, a visit to the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Bashkir Drama Theater named after M. Gafuri were organized for students of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.

Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov today is one of the leading universities which is included in the top universities in Kazakhstan.
