BSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia and Osh State University continue to increase cooperation

An online meeting of representatives of the Bashkir State Medical University and Osh State University (Kyrgyz Republic) took place. The delegations were headed by the rector of universities: Valentin Nikolaevich Pavlov - rector of BSMU and Kozhobekov Kudaiberdi Gaparalievich - rector of OshSU.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas for the development of cooperation in the fields of higher medical education, research and academic mobility. Particular attention was paid to the strengthening of intercultural interaction, the exchange of best educational practices, as well as the joint training of health professionals. The parties expressed confidence that joint efforts will contribute not only to strengthening professional ties, but also to the development of friendship between the peoples of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

Recall that in February 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed between BSMU and OshSU. Today, about 20 students from Kyrgyzstan study at our University, which indicates the growing interest in Russian medical education from foreign applicants.
