The University Hosted a Student Competition of Scientific Papers on Neurology

The intra-university competition of student papers in neurology, held jointly with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, collected 12 papers of students of 2-5 courses of our university from different countries, including co-authored with students of universities in Moscow and Rostov. An international jury evaluated each submitted work and awarded Diplomas to participants who were awarded on March 23, 2026. Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Daminev, Deputy Chairman of the SSS BSMU Karina Valeeva, Scientific Secretary of the Department of Medical Sciences and Health of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan Guzalia Ilyasova and the organizer of the competition - Professor of the Department of Neurology of BSMU Leyla Akhmadeeva in the House of Eurasian Scientific and Educational Centre in Ufa.

Congratulations to our winners - students of the medical (Russian-speaking and English-speaking) and pediatric faculties, whose names were displayed on the screen.

The participants of the award ceremony heard the speech of a 4th year student Nikhil Gudivad, who presented his work, in which a comparison of morbidity and mortality from strokes in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Kerala region of India was made.

All winners are invited to the BSMU team to participate in the International Subject Olympiad in Neurology "Neurology-2026," which our university holds together with Tashkent State Medical University on March 27, 2026. The contestants were given recommendations on how to publish the results of the work done in publications of Russia and foreign countries of various levels and how to draw up documents for registering the results of their intellectual activity.
