Delegation of Ufa Eye Research Institute took part in the conference of the Turkish Society of Ophthalmologists

The conference "TROS and CTOA ophthalmology congress" was held in Kyrenia (Northern Cyprus). The conference was attended by ophthalmologists from 7 countries: Northern Cyprus, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Russia, including Bashkortostan.

In total, 196 reports were presented at the conference on many aspects of ophthalmology: vitreoretinal surgery, cataract surgery, cornea, diseases of the accessory apparatus of the eye, pediatric ophthalmology, integrative ophthalmology, the use of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology.

From the Ufa Eye Research Institute, reports were presented on:

- cataract femtosurgery - Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Corneal and Crystalline Lens Surgery U.L. Usubov;

- relationship of obesity with ocular and systemic parameters — Candidate of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Integrative Ophthalmology E.M. Yakupova;

- efficiency of various crosslinking protocols - L.A. Tagirova, Junior Researcher, Department of Ophthalmological and Medical Ophthalmology.
