The Master Class of the leading Thoracic Surgeons is held at BSMU

With the chilled and snowy but delightful and pleasant morning of 14th December 2017 the Practical and Scientific conference on the "Modern Technologies in Surgery of the Lungs and Thorax" was successfully held in the prepossessing premises of the BSMU clinic at 9:00 .
The knowledgeable conference was mastered by the Professor Gilbert Massard from Strasbourg University, member of RAS, and Yablonskiy P. K., Director of Saint-Petersburg Research Institute of Phthisiopulmonology, chief thoracic surgeon of the Ministry of Healthcare. 
The environment of conference was pleasantly enhanced by the presence of the surgeons who gave master class and lecture about the innovations in surgical treatment of lung and thorax, these lectures were not only opened for all physicians, senior students but for the residents of the Republic .
The knowledgable lecture and master class was conducted by an experienced Prof. Peter Jablonski who uttered about the "Single-Port Lobectomy in Thoracic Surgery". 
And all thanks to the new equipment by the help of which we can remov the infected lung with a single incision.

Prof. Massard from France demonstrated about the reconstructive methods of treatment of congenital funnel-shaped deformation of the chest, which compresses the heart and lungs of the patient. 
This was not the first time they performed a very admirable and successful conference .
In 2006 prof P. K. Yablonski and Professor J. Massard with one more intuitively specialist A.G. Chuchalin (academy of RAS) performed the first successful lung transplantation. 
The modern technology of the online broadcast helped to convey all the processes performed in the BSMU clinic and lecture hall.
