Youth Scientific Conference "Proba Pera" in BSMU

15 December the Youth Scientific Conference “Proba Pera” was held in Bashkir State Medical University. The organizer of this event was Youth Scientific Society. Traditionally, students of elementary courses and high school students attended the conference. Totally about 150 reports were presented in five sections: “Fundamental Medicine”, “The Humanities”, “First steps in the Clinical disciplines”, “Dentistry”, “Preventive medicine”.

Presentation at the conference and publication of the results of their own research is a great opportunity for young researchers to check their strength. During this process, they form such important for future physician skills as the ability to find, analyze, organize and present the information correctly. No doubt, all the participants of the conference have got enormous experience in the field of scientific and research work. The winners of the conference were awarded with certificates.

Exhibition of scientific clubs is a unique possibility to see almost all scientific clubs of the university. About forty clubs presented their works. More than 1200 university students, high schools’ pupils got acquainted to scientific work of our medical students. All the departments presented interesting expositions. The Pharmacology department №1 provided the opportunity to watch lab rats. Practical skills in tracheal intubation was possible to work out at the booth of the Anesthesiology and Intensive Care department, to sew like a surgeon and work at the endobox one could at the Surgical department.  
The Psychology and Narcology department offered sweets, the Department of Public Health and Health Organization offered Chuck-Chuck.

The rector of the University V. N. Pavlov, chief physician of BSMU Clinic W. E. Bulatov, Professor S. N. Hanafin, supervisor M. V. Timerbulatov, head of Department of Educational and Social Work with Students T. R. Gizatullin were the experts of the Committee. They have paid attention to all scientific activities and wished further development to all the participants.

At the end of the year the best clubs became: scientific club of the Department of Public Health and Health Organization, scientific club of the Operative Surgery Department, Obstetrics and Gynecology Department № 2. The best chiefs became Ruslan Makhortov, Regina Gromenko, Marat Karimov.

Winners of the show became those who presented the best expositions: the Biological Chemistry Department, Faculty Pediatrics Department, Faculty Surgery Department, Ophthalmology Department, Dermatology Department, and Microbiology Department.
