The European leading thoracic surgeon Gilbert Massard expressed a desire to work with BSMU

14 December BSMU Clinic hosted the scientific-practical conference "Modern Technologies in Surgery of the Lungs and Thorax" with the participation of Strasbourg University professor, member of RAS, Gilbert Massard and Director of Saint-Petersburg Research Institute of Phthisiopulmonology, chief thoracic surgeon of the Healthcare Ministry, Yablonski Peter Kazimirovich.

Following the conference, Gilbert Massard expressed a desire to continue cooperation with BSMU in a personal letter to Valentin Pavlov, to conduct training programs on multidisciplinary oncology, minimally invasive thoracic surgeries, and thoracic surgery. As the President of the European Community of Thoracic Surgeons, Gilbert Massard proposed to organize a Symposium for doctors in the Urals region.
