She graduated from the Faculty of Biology of the Bashkir State University in 1986. She studied at the graduate school of the Institute of Plant and Animal Ecology of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Ekaterinburg) with a degree in Zoology.

Currently working on a PhD thesis on the topic: “Karyological indicators in buccal epithelial cells as a test for the genotoxicity of environmental factors.”
