Liana Iskanderovna Samigullina grauated the medical faculty of the Bashkir State Medical University with a diploma with distinction in 2001. She was an active participant in the Student Council and International Association of Medical Students throughout her years of study. She underwent internships in clinics in Izmir (Turkey) and Rome (Italy), was awarded a special state scholarship by the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan. She was elected as a delegate to the 3rd All-Russian Pirogov Congress of Physicians (Moscow, 1999). She completed her intership in the field of Therapy at the Department of Hospital Therapy No.1 at City Clinical Hospital No.13 in Ufa.

Samigullina L.I. is responsible for working with students from among foreign citizens studying with the help of an intermediary language (English) at the department. She also presents lectures in English for 5th and 6th year foreign students of the Faculty of Medicine, conducts practical classes and gives lectures on hospital therapy to students of 5-6 years of medical and 4-5 years pediatric faculties.
