1973 – 1978 – Saratov State Pedagogical Institute, faculty of foreign languages, awarded qualification of English and German teacher in specialty “English and German languages”.

1988 – 1992 – postgraduate training program at the department of English philology № 2 at Saint-Petersburg State University.

08.10.1992 – awarding of academic degree of candidate of Ph.D. Philological Sciences (specialty 10.02.04 – Germanic language) by the decision of the Dissertation Council of Saint-Petersburg State University and approved by Higher Attestation Commission of Ministry of Education of Russia as of 25.12.1992  кд № 071085.
25.10. 1995 – awarding of academic status of Associate Professor at the department of Foreign Languages by the decision of the State Committee of Russia of Higher Education (order № 734Д).
