Biography: He graduated from the Bashkir State Medical University in 1987. He completed a one-year internship in the specialty of surgery at City Clinical Hospital No. 8 from 1987 to 1988. From 1988 to 1991 he worked as a surgeon at City Clinical Hospital No. 8. In 1991, he was accepted to study at the clinical residency of the Bashkir State Medical Institute in specialty «Surgery», after graduating in 1993, he was hired as an assistant at the Department of General Surgery of the Bashkir State Medical Institute. In 1995 he defended his Ph.D. dissertation on the topic «Surgical treatment of liver injuries». In 2000, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: «Improving the surgical treatment of focal diseases and liver injuries». From September 2004 to February 2005 he worked as Deputy Director for Surgery at the BSMU clinic. Since February 2005, he has been working as a surgeon in the surgical department of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after. G.G. Kuvatova. Scientific activity: Surgical hepatology (development of surgical treatment of focal diseases and liver injuries). Research is devoted to the development and use of various methods of hemostasis and technical devices when performing surgical interventions on the liver, assessing the functional state of the liver before and after surgery, stimulating regeneration during extensive resections and resections against the background of diffuse liver diseases. New technologies have been developed and put into practice for the surgical treatment of focal liver diseases, methods for correcting the functional state of the liver after extensive resections, and new drugs for hemostasis of parenchymal organs).
