Biography:

Safonov Anton Sergeevich graduated from the First Moscow State Medical University named after. I.M. Sechenov in 2011 (Moscow).

From 2011 to 2012 passed a clinical internship at the Department of Hospital Surgery No. 1 in the specialty «Surgery» at the First Moscow State Medical University named after. I. M. Sechenov (Moscow).

From 2012 to 2014 completed a clinical residency in the specialty «coloproctology» at the Federal State Budgetary Institution «State Scientific Center for Coloproctology» of the Ministry of Health of Russia (Moscow).

From 2014 to 2015 passed a clinical internship in the specialty «oncology» at the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education Medical Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians on the basis of the Moscow Research Oncological Institute named after P. A. Herzen (Moscow).

From 2013 to 2017 studied in correspondence postgraduate study at the Department of Surgery with courses in oncology, endoscopy, anesthesiology and resuscitation, surgical pathology, clinical transplantology and organ donation of the Institute of Professional Postgraduate Education of the Federal State Budgetary Institution State Scientific Center Federal Medical Biophysical Center named after. A.I. Burnazyan of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia (Moscow). Awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences in two specialties - surgery and oncology named after. M. F. Vladimirsky, National Medical and Surgical Center named after. N.I. Pirogov in December 2017 (Moscow).

In 2017, she completed professional retraining under the program «Organization of Healthcare and Public Health» at the Institute of Professional Postgraduate Education of the Federal State Budgetary Institution State Scientific Center Federal Medical Biophysical Center named after. A.I. Burnazyan of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia (Moscow).

In June 2018, based on the decision of the Departmental Attestation Commission of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, he was awarded the highest qualification category in two specialties - surgery and oncology (Moscow).

From 2015 to February 2019, he worked as a surgeon at the Center for Surgery and Transplantology at the Federal State Budgetary Institution State Scientific Center Federal Medical Biophysical Center named after. A.I. Burnazyan of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia (Moscow).

From February 2019 to December 2019, he worked as the head of the surgical department with oncology beds at the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Bashkortostan, City Clinical Hospital of the Demsky District of Ufa, performing the duties of deputy chief physician for medical affairs.

From December 2019 to 2022, he worked as the head of the oncology department of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after. G.G. Kuvatova.

From 2022 to the present, he has been Deputy Chief Physician for Surgical Care at the Republican Clinical Hospital named after. G.G. Kuvatova.

Teaching experience:

From 2012 to December 2017 worked as an assistant in the Department of Surgery at the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education at the Medical Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians on the basis of the Moscow Research Oncological Institute named after P. A. Herzen (Moscow).

From 2018 to February 2019 worked as an associate professor and head of the academic department of the Department of Oncology and Radiation Medicine with a course in medical physics at the MBU INO Federal Medical Biophysical Center named after. A.I. Burnazyan of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia (Moscow).

From March 2019 to 2022, he worked as an associate professor in the Department of Surgery with a course in endoscopy at the Institute of Postgraduate Education at the Bashkir State Medical University.

From 2022 to the present, he has been working as an associate professor of the Department of General Surgery with courses in transplantology and radiation diagnostics of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the Bashkir State Medical University.

Scientific work:

He is the author of more than 28 scientific works in the central press, 4 scientific inventions.

Since 2012 he has been a full member of the Russian Society of Surgeons, since 2014 he has been a full member of the Association of Coloproctologists of Russia, the Association of Oncologists of Russia and RUSSCO (Russian Society of Clinical Oncology), since 2015 he has been a full member of the international associations ESMO (European Society For Medical Oncology), ESCP (European Society of Coloproctology) and ASCO(American Society of Clinical Oncology). Actively attends and participates in thematic congresses, symposiums and conferences.

From 2017 to the present, he has been engaged in educational activities together with the Together Against Cancer Foundation. Every year he takes part in the all-Russian campaign «Pink Ribbon», «Train of Health». Actively lectures to students, primary care staff in hard-to-reach areas of the Republic of Bashkortostan and patients on the prevention and early detection of cancer. He has certificates of honor, letters of gratitude and was awarded the «Bronze Cross of the FMBA of Russia» badge of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency.

Conducts practical classes with 3rd year students in the discipline «General Surgery».
