Students from Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Nanchang, China) had an internship at the faculty of Pharmacy at BSMU

From 12 until 20 October 2018 10 students from Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Nyanchan, China) headed by Dean Liu Zhonghua passed the short-term practical training at the faculty of Pharmacy.

Our Chinese colleagues got acquainted with the equipment and work of specialized departments of the faculty of Pharmacy, research laboratories, the collection area of medicinal plants of the Pharmacognosy chair, and peculiarities of teaching pharmaceutical disciplines. 

At the Pharmacognosy chair with the course of botany and the basics of herbal medicine, which supervised the practical training of the Chinese students, a lecture and practical training on pharmacognosy in English, where the Chinese students were introduced to the methods of teaching pharmacognosy in BSMU. Professor Liu Zhonghua gave a lecture for the students of the 1st and 3rd courses of our University on the organization of the learning process in China.

Teachers and students of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine visited the Botanical garden of the Russian Academy of Scinces, Ufa, experimental farm "Lemonary", visited pharmacies "Bashfarmatsiya" RB and "Farmland", "Lekkontrol" RB, which are the main bases of practice of students from the faculty of Pharmacy BSMU. The guests also visited the Simulation Centers, which are accredited graduates of pharmaceutical and other faculties of our University. The guests were very interested in the equipment of our Simulation Centers and the principles of specialists’ accreditation in Russia. 

Members of the delegation also visited the Scientific and Practical Conference on the History of Health and Medicine in the Republic of Bashkortostan, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of health care in Bashkortostan.

The round table was organized with the participation of representatives from our University, Chinese colleagues and colleagues from the United States, within the framework of which there was a discussion of the prospects of using traditional medicine in modern conditions.

Also for students of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were organized a sightseeing tour in Ufa and a visit to the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Guests from China warmly responded to the trip to Bashkortostan and practical training in BSMU and expressed confidence that our close partnership will continue to develop and strengthen, as they were very pleased.
