On 15 October 2018 professor Selina Le May-Klippel, Fulbright scholar of the US State Department, held a practical session with students majoring in Nursing on "Fever" at BSMU Medical College.
In the practical lesson, the participants considered and determined the value of fever, fever stage, pathological processes of thermoregulation, and the main criteria that are taken into account when plotting the temperature curve.
Students actively participated in the study of this theme. Body temperature is the most important indicator of the state of the body, and it is widely used in medicine. To be competent health workers, students should know the physiological and pathological processes in the human body well to provide quality care and first aid.
For several months, Professor Selina Le May-Klippel together with her husband, clinical pharmacist from the United States Eric Klippel give lectures, conduct seminars, master classes for BSMU students.
